By Wassiou Kao | President, ONG Bio-Benin
Bio-Benin is committed to protecting the environment in all its forms: waterways, trees, flora and fauna, organic soil management, sustainable energy sources, and organic farming that produces healthy, life-enhancing fruits and vegetables.
By teaming up with the Canadian NGO, Thrive for Good, Bio-Benin is learning new, enhanced organic farming skills from Thrive's instructors. Through Thrive's online training program and the on-site development of a 1,000 square meter organic vegetable garden at our farm in Natitingou, Benin this June, 2026, we will open our doors to the community to enhance their health through access to organic food.
Some 40 villagers will be invited to learn how to grow vegetables organically in this special garden, to produce vegetables at no cost to them and sell the surplus in the marketplace to generate income.
Thank you Thrive for Good for this opportunity to improve our organic farming knowledge and techniques in our quest to improve the lives of all those we serve, with your help.
Also with your help we are planning to drill a new well to provide a reliable source of water during the dry season for irrigation, craft beer making and life at the farm. Please make a donation today to help make this possible. Thank you.
