Youth unemployment in Cameroon is increasingly becoming a critical issue which cannot be addressed by the government alone. Pandemics, natural disasters and education system continues to escalate the unemployment trends and illegal migration by the Cameroonian youths. Lack of Vocational training services and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people has the devastating potential to create a severe economic impact.
Integrated Agricultural Association (I.A.A) developed a project to support the youth of Cameroon in agropastoral entrepreneurship. I.A.A has trained and support over 1000 youths in Kumbo and Bamenda in the past months on graphic design, basic computer knowledge including; Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Market gardening, to facilitate job access and promote self-employment amongst youths in the agriculture sector.
The initial estimated budget for this project is $100,000.00 but I.A.A has so far raised $200 through donations on GlobalGiving. I.A.A need $99,800.00 by the end of October 2023 to build a "National Youth Farm Training School" to provide practical learning skills on agropastoral entrepreneurship (crops/animal production) to 1000 unemployed youths by the end of 2024. I.A.A need donation of any amount now to realize this goal, you are truly making a great difference in our community through your regular support.
You are our great supporter, thank you so much, with your donation we will be able to continue this incredible mission in serving humanity.
