Anitha is one of our students in the special school child labourers from Ramagiripatti village in Trichy District, South India. She dropped out from school education at standard eighth due to her parents inability to support her education. They were very poor and to earn additional income Anitha was sent to rear goats of affluent people in the village. She wanted to study and was talking about her fate to her friends. This was brought to the notice of our special school teacher and the counselor and the teacher met her parents.
We had to make several attempts to convince her parents to send her to our special school. She joined our special school, studied well and was admitted to regular school in standard ninth. She passed her higher secondary examinations in this May 2010 and now she is admitted to Diploma in Pharmacy.
We can make this happen only with the support of donors like you and we pray that your good hearts be blessed. We request your continued support in helping so many Anithas come up in life.
