Title: Clean Water Well Completed in Harnai, Balochistan, Benefiting 280 People
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation has successfully completed the construction of a Water Well in Village Doraan Tangi, UC & Tehsil Shahrag, District Harnai, Balochistan, providing reliable access to safe and clean drinking water for more than 280 community members.
Story / Update
For many families in the remote areas of Harnai, access to safe drinking water has long been a daily challenge. Residents often had to travel considerable distances to collect water, exposing them to health risks and consuming valuable time.
To address this critical need, Alkhidmat Foundation successfully constructed a Water Well in Village Doraan Tangi, ensuring a dependable and sustainable source of clean drinking water for the local community. The project will directly benefit over 280 people, improving access to safe water for drinking, cooking, and daily household use.
Reliable access to clean water will help reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases, improve sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhance the overall quality of life for families in the village. The project also eases the burden on women and children, who are often responsible for fetching water from distant sources.
Through sustainable water initiatives like this, Alkhidmat Foundation continues to bring lasting improvements to underserved communities across Pakistan.
