This project will trained 50 female sex workers in different income generating activities for a year in Kathmandu Valley,Nepal,with 20 for residential and 30 for non-residential.This project helps to engage on different livelihood activities besides sex work and will help to reduce transmission of STI and HIV/AIDS among female sex workers and helps to positive behavior change.
In Nepal there were many female were involved in sex works as cause various factors.A main cause is lack of skills for sustainable living.As a sex worker they have high risk on HIV/AIDS and STI.So,livelihood program will help them for engage on income generating activities and will help to reduce their sexual activities and also help to reduce new HIV transmission.
To train on different livelihood training as their need and will give seed money for start their own business and simply provided skills on wards.
The project will trained 50 female sex workers on livelihood activities and will change their sex work which helps to behavior change and improve their economic status and will help to reduce HIV transmission.
