This severe lack of access to reliable energy threatens educational opportunities, impacts healthcare, and economic opportunities, and harms the environment. Further, rapidly changing climate coupled with increasingly severe weather patterns like floods, threaten livelihoods and food security.
Orant's Energy and Environment program aims to tackle these problems by focusing on promoting sustainable solutions. We are equipping communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to fight deforestation, renew soil nutrients, minimize water pollution and invest in sustainable farming systems, empowering communities in Malawi to build a brighter future.
