Mrs. Maria is 82 years old. She has lived alone for years - her small pension doesn't cover food, heating, or medicine. In winter, she sleeps under layers of blankets to save on fuel. There are thousands like her in Poland. Nearly 10% of seniors live in extreme poverty, often in silence and shame. Thanks to your support, the Clementine Foundation can care for seniors like Mrs. Maria - offering warm meals, conversation, psychological help, and the hope that they are no longer forgotten.
Hunger, cold, loneliness, fear and shame. This isn't a movie - it's the daily reality of thousands of seniors in Poland. A study by Fundacja Klementyna and the Stocznia Foundation shows that nearly 10% of single-person pensioner households live below the minimum subsistence level, 28% experience symptoms of depression, and 1 in 5 has no one to call for help. We refuse to accept this - dignity in old age is a right, not a privilege. No one who built our country should grow old hungry or alone.
Thanks to your support, seniors in Poland will get more than help - they'll regain everyday life with food, warmth, and human connection. Your donation will fund meals, food packages, home visits, and emotional support - all when it matters most, during Christmas. It's real change: from an empty plate to a shared table, from silence to laughter, from loneliness to dignity, from despair to hope that someone still remembers.
Today in Poland, 1 in 5 seniors has no one to turn to, and nearly 10% live below the minimum subsistence level. This project can truly change those numbers. Regular meals, visits, and emotional support will reduce hunger, isolation, and depression. Thanks to your help, 600 seniors will regain hope, dignity, relationships, and a sense of belonging. Your support will not only improve statistics - it will change lives and the future of aging in Poland.
