A Milestone in Learning: DOSTI One-Room School Upgraded to Middle Level
In February 2026, the DOSTI One-Room School in Badaber reached an important milestone: it was officially upgraded to Level Middle under the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP).
The school has grown through the dedicated efforts of DOSTI Welfare Organisation, transforming from a single-room setup into a vibrant educational institution serving the local community.
Who Is Being Reached
312 children enrolled from Nursery to Class 5
35 students now studying at Middle Level (Class 6)
50 students successfully completed primary education and moved forward
34 learners enrolled in the Skills Center
200+ girls trained through the Women Skills Center across 5 completed batches, many now earning independently
What Support Was Provided
During the upgradation event, students received free textbooks, notebooks, school bags, furniture, and learning materials, removing financial barriers that often prevent families from keeping children in school.
Community leaders and local officials joined the event, reinforcing trust and long-term sustainability.
Community Impact
The initiative continues to transform lives by offering a safe and inclusive space for children who had no access to formal education. Parents and local leaders have reported improved literacy awareness and motivation to support children’s learning.
