A 12-year-old girl with a physical disability that affects her mobility. She uses a wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance for daily activities.
her father is a 35-year-old. He works as a farmer under a local landlord. His income is modest and largely dependent on the seasonal yield of his crops. But often in Sindh Pakistan in lower areas where he faces yearly floods or monsoons every day, because of that many times his crops are lost and he comes into debt under the landlord.
The Society for Minors' Protection and Development-SMPD responded by providing a wheelchair in collaboration with its partner organization. This support highlights the critical role that organizations can play in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families, especially in underserved areas. By providing essential equipment and comprehensive support, the organization helps improve Rajkumari’s quality of life and supports her family in managing her condition. The wheelchair significantly improves her ability to move around and engage in daily activities, contributing to her independence and quality of life.
SMPD is thankful for the individuals supporting us in reaching these needy people in the Sindh region.
We continue to need your support and prayers to serve these communities.
