The Society for Minors' Protection and Development (SMPD) has reached out to another girl with a disability in the rural region of Tando Adam, located in Sindh. This area is predominantly agricultural, with most residents engaged in agriculture on landlord-owned lands. The family initially considered their daughter's condition a curse, but an SMPD team member visited them to provide reassurance, emphasizing her unique potential and the importance of family support. The family subsequently requested assistance from SMPD.
SMPD responded by providing a wheelchair, enabling the girl to move and interact with other children. Her peers were excited to see the wheelchair and engage with her.
The family and community members expressed great happiness and gratitude for the support SMPD and its donors provided. SMPD extends sincere thanks to all supporters whose contributions made this assistance possible for the girl.
