Dear Donors, Friends, and Well Wishers!
Greetings from India,
I hope you are well and in good spirits as I send you this report. We are excited to provide the project's progress report on assistive devices.
Meet Mr. Pranav, a young man who suffered a car accident and lost a limb. He had little hope and was depressed. He was stuck at home and thought extremely poorly of life. He would never be able to play cricket, go out with friends, or attend a social event, he believed. The main worry was how he would finish college. His outlook on life as a whole was altered by this auto accident.
The project team got in touch with him at his house. He was given advice and told how an artificial limb would help him realise his goals. He was shown the para athletics footage and stories. He was able to regain his confidence thanks to these counselling sessions.
He received the highest calibre prosthetic limb free of charge. He was first a little reluctant to wear an artificial limb. He attended the counselling sessions, accepted his impairment, and accepted mechanical limbs as a necessary part of his life.
He now plays cricket with his friends, attends college, drives a car, and rides a bike. In addition to working hard to pass competitive exams for Government Jobs in India, he aspires to become a government official.
We were able to help many young people who lost limbs due to accidents because to your encouragement and support. 10 artificial limbs were distributed over the previous reporting period.
We kindly ask that you continue to support this endeavour. We ask that you make a small, regular gift each month to support the project's operations. As you are helping this noble cause, we want you to encourage your friends and family to participate in this effort.

Dear Supporters & Well-Wishers,
We are pleased to report that the Assistive Devices: Program is progressing well and has now reached a new milestone. The project team is attempting to reach out to disabled people living in remote areas who do not have access to this equipment. It began in the district of Bhuj Kutch.
The earthquake in Kutch caused many people to lose their limbs. Many organisations organised in the immediate aftermath of the earthquake to provide artificial limbs to those in need. Over time, these prosthetic limbs will need to be repaired and replaced. They must spend money to obtain this because the services are no longer available free of cost. They must spend money to obtain it.
The project team decided to implement an outreach program; they conducted a survey in Bhuj and decided to help 25 people in need.
We are pleased to inform you that Karisma, who lost her limb in an earthquake when she was two years old, struggled to get an age-appropriate limb after receiving an artificial leg at the time. She is very happy now, that she no longer has to travel far to get this limb to get it repaired, and even for the new artificial limb.
Similarly, Manjuben, 40 years young woman, is impoverished. She must engage in casual labour to support their family. She was injured in the leg while working, but due to a lack of proper treatment, her leg became gangrenous, necessitating amputation. It was now extremely difficult for them to work. She was depressed. She was overjoyed to learn that as part of this programme, she will receive an artificial leg that will allow her to work like before and that after receiving the leg, she will be able to earn a living by doing daily work as before.
With the generous assistance of donors like you, we can provide assistance to the needy people of such remote areas. We would like to see this programme implemented in states other than Gujarat where the service is required. Please inform our friends and family about this project and encourage them to donate.
Thanking you to supporting this project.
