This is our first project on GlobalGiving and we are still learning the ropes.
Even though we have yet to receive our first donation, we are confident that with more experience and time, we will reach many donors who support higher education access and affordability.
NewU is the first 3-year Bachelor's degree college in the US. We are a non-profit university with a campus in Washington, DC serving under-resourced and first-generation students. Currently, we have 70% first-gen students and none of our students take students loans. This is possible thanks to the generous scholarships NewU awards which are based entirely on financial need.
With support from donors, we are confident we will continue to offer affordable education to those who need it the most.
