We want to express how truly grateful we are to You for your generous support of Project Soar. Your contribution has made it possible for us to continue empowering teenage girls, providing them with the resources they need to reach their full potential.
Thanks to You, we have nearly reached our campaign goal allowing us to continue our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of young girls in Morocco. We are humbled by your kindness and dedication. As this campaign draws to a conclusion, we'd like to share one more story about the impact of your contributions.
At Project Soar, we are devoted to helping young girls through skill-building courses. However, we also believe that emphasizing empowerment through artistic expression is essential.
One of the signature modules at Project Soar is Body, which aims to educate girls about the value of physical activity and adopting an active lifestyle for both their physical and emotional success. Information on the advantages of regular exercise, such as enhancing cardiovascular health, developing strength and flexibility, and keeping a healthy weight, is included in the program. Facilitators also guide girls about details on the beneficial effects exercise has on both mental health and general well-being.
In line with our Body module, we were able to arrange a dance class for the girls at the headquarters in Douar Laadam, thanks to Your support. These types of classes provide a creative outlet for the girls to express themselves through movement. It also helps them to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and physical strength.
Along with this, we also provided them with a yoga class, which was a wonderful method to encourage both physical activity and emotional expression. Yoga is a comprehensive exercise that enhances physical stamina and flexibility as well as mental and emotional health. The girls were taught yoga positions and breathing exercises that allowed them to center themselves in the present, let go of tension and stress and find inner peace. Additionally, the program gave the girls a secure and encouraging setting in which they could be active physically and mentally, to learn about themselves, and explore their feelings. The girls were able to develop in a more holistic way as a result of learning how to channel their emotions healthily through their breath and movement. Overall, supporting the girls' yoga class was a wise choice that improved their physical and mental well-being.
