Empowerment Center and Demonstration Farm

To date, we have raised over $80,000 from generous donors and foundations to support our future Community Empowerment Center and Farm. We are now in the final stages of securing the land and preparing to bring this vision to life.

This initiative emerges from a collaborative effort with local communities to create a hub for education, enterprise, and community development. The center will serve as a space for learning, skill-building, and economic empowerment, fostering self-sufficiency and unity among marginalized populations. With continued support and investment, the center aims to serve as a model for community empowerment and replication across Uganda. 

Objectives:

• Provide educational programs, vocational training, and enterprise development opportunities.
• Foster community engagement and capacity building through workshops, gatherings, and think-tanks.
• Establish a sustainable model for long-term community empowerment and economic resilience.
• Establish a sustainable social enterprise model for Rooted Wisdom Africa.

Features:

• Multi-purpose facility for classes, workshops, meetings, and community events.
• Vocational training classrooms for skills like mechanics, tailoring, and brickmaking.
• Community market showcasing local entrepreneurs and products.
• Coffee shop as a social hub for relationship building and networking.

Impact Trajectory:

• Year One: Direct support for 750 individuals and indirect support for 3,750 people.
• Year Two: Direct support for 935 individuals and indirect support for 4,675 people.
• Three Years and Beyond: The organization's expansion continues to benefit over 1,200 individuals annually, reaching a cumulative audience of over 6,000 Ugandans through its current programming.

To complete this transformative project, we need to raise an additional $30,000 for essential infrastructure. With continued support, we are confident that we will make this a reality—creating lasting opportunities for women, youth, and farmers. Every contribution brings us closer to empowering communities through education, entrepreneurship, and food security.
