Summary

Ciudad Juarez, located on the Mexico-US border, is an epicenter of resilience but also of profound economic gaps. uHub is launching an initiative to transform the lives of 40 women entrepreneurs including heads of household, caregivers, and indigenous women living in vulnerable situations. Through a comprehensive support model, we provide them with the technical tools and emotional strengthening necessary to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses, allowing them to achieve economic autonomy

Challenge

In Ciudad Juarez, 40 women leaders have the talent and determination to start businesses, but face gender violence, caregiving duties, and an excluding economy. Without seed capital or training adapted to their border reality, their ventures fail within the first critical months. These women don't just seek survival: they want to transform their communities and break poverty cycles. They have the capacity; they only need the opportunity and support to thrive.

Solution

uHub provides a three-pillar support system designed for the border context: Entrepreneurial mindset rebuilding: We strengthen personal resilience and leadership so participants recognize themselves as owners of their economic destiny. Business technical support: Personalized mentoring in finance, marketing, and legal structure, ensuring profitable and professional ventures. Binational sustainability network: We connect all 40 entrepreneurs with a support community and local markets, preventing

Long-Term Impact

By empowering these 40 women, we impact 40 families and hundreds of indirect beneficiaries in Ciudad Juarez. Each participant will increase income sustainably, reducing economic dependency and creating local jobs. Longterm, these entrepreneurs become role models in the border region, proving innovation and entrepreneurship combat violence and exclusion. Graduates inspire their communities, motivating more women toward growth, creating a trust network with positive social impact across the border
