Safe Housing & Education Updates

By Mrs. Paula Chomba | Co-Founder and Project Leader

Subject: Transforming Lives – Safe Housing & Education Updates

Dear Sponsors,

At WOW Tanzania, we are committed to providing vulnerable families with safe housing, education, and opportunities for self-sufficiency. Thanks to your generosity, families like Nancy and Zuwena’s have found stability after enduring hardship. Previously living in a cramped, unsafe space where they faced mistreatment, they now have a secure two-room home where they can study and thrive. Their widowed mother, Eliamani, is also gaining financial independence through our self-sustainability program.

Similarly, we have improved the living conditions for Tunu and Oliver, who were in an unfinished home without clean water or sanitation. With your support, we have added plaster, floors, windows, and beds, though they still need access to water and proper sanitation. We are also working on Darius’s home, planning to install a well, rainwater tanks, and a toilet to ensure his family’s health and safety.

Beyond housing, our goal is to help families achieve long-term stability. Through our support, many are currently renting, and we are working to assist them in saving for land and building their own homes. With your continued support, we can break the cycle of poverty and empower more families toward self-sufficiency.

For more details on these projects and other updates, please see our newsletters attached below. Thank you for making a lasting impact in the lives of these children and families!

Warm regards,
