Dear WOWzers,
We’re excited to share wonderful news from the field! Thanks to your incredible support, the construction of a new toilet for Tunu and Oliva’s family is nearly complete. Before this project, the family had no proper sanitation facility and faced serious health and safety risks, especially at night. Today, they finally have a clean, safe toilet right at their home — a big step toward dignity and better health.
Tunu and Oliva are thrilled, and their sick elderly father is deeply grateful, saying this new toilet has brought comfort and relief to their daily lives. The structure now stands strong with a solid concrete base, but there’s still more to do.
Next Steps: We plan to add a roof and build walls around the toilet to ensure privacy and protection from the weather. We also hope to install a small sink and a water tank so the family can easily wash and maintain proper hygiene. Once complete, this facility will be a safe, private, and fully functional sanitation space for the family.
Thank you, WOWzers, for helping us bring hope and dignity to Tunu and Oliva’s home. Together, we’re not just building toilets — we’re building healthier futures and restoring joy to families in need.
