We are continuing our preparations to launch the Teaching for Peace initiative, designed to support Syrian teachers with practical skills that can help them create safer, more supportive, and more inclusive learning environments for children.
Teachers play a central role in helping children recover from the effects of conflict. Through this project, we are preparing to provide training focused on peace education, conflict resolution, empathy, communication, and psychosocial support.
Our team is continuing to work on the preparations needed for implementation, with the aim of launching the project soon and reaching teachers who can bring these skills directly into their classrooms and communities.
We believe that supporting teachers is one of the most meaningful ways to support the next generation in Syria.
Once implemented, the project will help teachers strengthen their ability to address classroom challenges, encourage dialogue and cooperation, and create spaces where children can learn with greater confidence and dignity.
We are grateful to everyone following this initiative and supporting our efforts to prepare for its implementation.
We look forward to moving from preparation to action and beginning this important work with Syrian teachers soon.
