We are excited to introduce our new initiative focused on transforming the lives of young people through community-based sports programs in underserved rural areas of Uganda.
This project aims to establish inclusive and structured sports programs in football, netball, and volleyball, reaching 1,000 children and youth (ages 8–18). Our goal is to create safe, supportive environments where both boys and girls have equal opportunities to participate, grow, and thrive.
Key components of the project include:
Sports Development: Providing coaching, equipment, and safe play spaces to nurture talent and promote physical well-being.
Life Skills & Leadership: Integrating life skills training, mentorship, and leadership development to help young people build confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
Education Support: Partnering with local schools to ensure that children—especially those at risk of dropping out—remain engaged in education.
Gender Equality: Promoting equal participation and empowering girls through sports clubs, access to role models, and health education programs.
While this project has officially gone live on GlobalGiving, we have not yet received any donations. However, our commitment remains strong. We are actively continuing outreach, community mobilization, and awareness efforts as we seek partners and donors to bring this vision to life.
We warmly invite supporters, partners, and well-wishers to join us in making this initiative a success. Your support will help provide opportunities, inspire dreams, and create a lasting impact in the lives of young people across Uganda.
Together, we can use the power of sports to build stronger, healthier, and more empowered communities.
