Challenge Rural Tamil women play a vital role in agriculture, yet they face numerous challenges, including:
The project will: Conduct training programs on sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and climate-resilient practices. Establish women farmer groups and self-help groups (SHGs). Provide access to quality seeds, farming tools, and small-scale irrigation support. Facilitate financial literacy and entrepreneurship training. Link women farmers with local markets and value-added agricultural opportunities. Promote leadership and participation of women in community development.
