Introduction:
This report presents the progress made between the month of May to August 2025 for the project, “Empowering Nepalese Children's Education project”. The primary efforts were on providing essential support to the students of Junkiri School, including Books and stationeries, food, and clothes.
Funds Received
During this reporting period, PA Nepal did not receive any disbursement from GlobalGiving. This lack of funding posed significant challenges in covering our necessary expenses.
Allocation of Funds
As mentioned above, PA Nepal did not receive any disbursement from GlobalGiving during this reporting period. However, PA Nepal managed to carry out the necessary activities by utilizing funds from other sources.
School Uniforms
We used some of the available funds to provide school uniforms for the students at Junkiri School. Uniforms help ensure that the children can attend school with dignity and confidence.
Food:
We make sure the children receive regular meals. Proper nutrition is important for their growth, health, and ability to focus and do well in school.
Shoes:
With the limited funds available, we were also able to purchase shoes for some students who needed them for school and daily use.
Challenges
As no disbursement was received during this period, we were unable to cover all planned expenses as we had in previous months. We had to rely on limited funds from alternative sources which required us to prioritize the urgent needs.
Impact
Children’s Well-being:
Giving the children books, stationery, food, and clothes has helped improve their confidence, health, and allowed them to continue their education without interruption.
CommunitySupport:
The strong support from the local community has been very helpful in running the school and taking care of the children’s daily needs.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to ongoing support from GlobalGiving to help address the increasing needs of the children. With more funding, we can give better support for their education and nutrition.
Conclusion
Despite financial difficulties, PA Nepal has carefully utilized available resources to address the children’s most urgent needs. We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving and all our donors for their continued support. Every contribution plays a vital role in providing these children with a brighter future through education.
