Introduction ThisreportpresentstheprogressmadebetweenthemonthofSeptember to December2024forthe project, “Empowering NepaleseChildren'sEducationproject”.Theprimaryeffortswasonproviding essentialsupportto thestudentsofJunkiriSchool,includingBooks and stationeries,food,andclothes.
FundsReceived
Forthereportingperiod,PANepalreceivedadisbursementof$1174.66. This funding enables us to meet some of the basic and urgent needs of the children
Allocation of Funds The disbursed amount was thoughtfully allocated to address the most pressing needs of the children:
Books and stationeries:A significant portion of the funds was utilized to provide books and stationery for the students of Junkiri School. These supplies are essential for enabling the children to actively participate in their education and develop learning skills.

Food: Weensuredthatthechildrenreceivedtheirregularmeals. Proper nutrition is crucial for their physical growth, overall health, and ability to concentrate and perform well in their studies.
Clothing: A part of the funds was allocated to purchase clothing like socks etc. Appropriate clothing ensures that the children are comfortable, confident, and adequately prepared for both school and daily activities.
Challenges
PA Nepal faced challenges due to the global recession, largely caused by financial constraints from the pandemic. With limited resources, we had to manage expenses carefully to meet the children’s needs.
Impact
Children’sWell-being:
Providing books, stationery, food, and clothing has positively impacted the children’s confidence, supported their health, and uninterrupted access to education.
CommunitySupport:Strong support from the local community, which helps us maintain the day-to-day operations of the schoolandcareforthechildren.
LookingAhead
Wearehopefulfor continued donations through GlobalGiving, which will help ustobetter meet thegrowingneedsofthechildreninourcare.Additionalfundingwouldenableustocover morecomprehensiveeducationalandnutritionalsupport.
Conclusion
Even with financial challenges, PA Nepal has been able to utilize the available resources to meet the children’s immediate needs. We sincerely appreciate the continued support from GlobalGiving and all our donors. Everycontribution is essential in helpingempowerthese childrenthrougheducation.
