Update on our project
The Handbook as a tool to help overcome fear of dogs is in the final stages of proofreading and preparation for print. As original content, it will help to eliminate fear of dogs, especially in children, and thus enable them to live together and to have a healthy and responsible attitude towards animals in general. Psychologists have also volunteered to contribute to the preparation of the handbook, their participation is very important to us.
The work of the members of the Helping Paws Association is entirely voluntary, as is the work of volunteers in the preparation of the original handbook. After the publication of the manual, therapeutic pairs will be trained to work with dogs to help eliminate children their fear of dogs.
As we are also networking outside Slovenia, we will also consider a translation and an English version of the manual.
Please find below a list of content of the manual and flyer about our manual.
