Dear Donor, please receive a warm greeting. We are writing to express our deepest thanks for your donation, contributions from donors like you provide the financial and moral support needed to accomplish our mission of improving the life conditions of a team of women who live in some deprived communities of the Punta Cana region.

The project remain focused on the following objectives::

  • Socioeconomic: Acquisition of skills that promote dignified entrepreneurship and the empowerment of the female artisans..
  • Environmental: Protection of the marine ecosystem (by reducing pollution from plastic bags, which are used to make the handicrafts)

They have become microentrepreneurs that contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.

As a foundation, we continue supporting artisans by making it possible to sell their handicrafts at the stores of the Fundación Grupo Puntacana, Puntacana Resort and Club and some stores at the Punta Cana International Airport, as part of the marketing strategies.

In the last months the project has provided the advisory and logistical support for their participation in bazaars, fairs and various events. They participated by setting up an exhibition stand in:

  •  8th Consular- Diplomatic Golf Cup
  • Punta Cana Pork Festival
  • The Christmas Bazaar at Puntacana Village
  • Various corporate events that took place in the Punta Cana destination.

The group of artisans ends the year experiencing an increase in handicrafts sales (around US$6,000 in the last 3 months), which has been the result of the aforementioned actions and the recovery of tourism. As usual, the incomes are distributed among them and a part is allocated for administrative expenses of the association of artisans.

 Please see the picture attached.

We look forward to a continuing partnership with you.

We will keep you informed about the progress of the project. If you have any comment, advice or question, please feel free to direct them to us and we will answer as best we can.

Thank you again

Best wishes,

Dear Donor, please receive a warm greeting. We are writing to express our deepest thanks for your donation, contributions from donors like you provide the financial and moral support needed to accomplish our mission of improving the life conditions of a team of women who live in some deprived communities of the Punta Cana region.

Thanks to your generosity and social awareness this project is able to empower women in vulnerable situations, through stimulation of their self-esteem and potential for achievement

Our handcraft project undoubtedly continues to contribute to reducing levels of marginality as it promotes the socioeconomic development of the artisans, their families and their communities. The search for economic benefit goes hand in hand with caring for the environment, through the reduction of pollution caused by uncontrollably discarded plastic covers.

One of the pillars of the project is the improvement of capacities, providing the artisans with the necessary skills to continue successfully inserting themselves in the micro-business world and at the same time promoting their personal growth and the achievement of their goals.

As a Foundation, we continue supporting the artisans by making it possible to sell their handicrafts at the stores of the Fundación Grupo Puntacana, Puntacana Resort and Club and some stores at the Punta Cana International Airport, as part of the marketing strategies.

The artisans are increasingly participating as exhibitors in activities that help them promote their products and boost sales.  Fortunately the sales ofr the handicrafts (bags, souvenirs, accessories) continue increasing due to the recovery of the local tourism industry.

In the last month the project has been focused on providing the logistical support for their participation in bazaars, fairs and various events. In the last months they participated by setting up an exhibition stand in:

  • International Airport Law Conference at the Westin Puntacana Resort & Club,
  • Beats by the Beach event at Playa Blanca-Puntacana Resort & Club ,
  • Artisan Fair, carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce

We look forward to a continuing partnership with you.

We will keep you informed about the progress of the project. If you have any comment, advice or question, please feel free to direct them to us and we will answer as best we can.

There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your support.

Dear Donor, please receive a warm greeting. Thank you for your donation !

It helps us to continue supporting the female artisans so that they can have a better life for themselves and their families..

The greatest value of this project is the design and implementation of an effective initiative to fight poverty that promotes social inclusion through the improvement of the living conditions of the target audience. The combination of resources and processes has produced favorable results, generating social value.

This initiative undoubtedly contributes to the reduction of poverty levels, since it promotes the socioeconomic development of the artisans and their communities through the creation of capacities and the promotion of entrepreneurship and microenterprise.

Thanks to your generosity and social awareness this project is able to empower women in vulnerable situations, through stimulation of their self-esteem and potential for achievement

This social initiative shows as one of its main achievements the design and manual elaboration of innovative and high-quality products that respond to environmental protection criteria, through the revaluation of forms of traditional management of raw materials and presentation of sustainable management options.

As a Foundation, we continue supporting the artisans by making it possible to sell their handicrafts at the stores of the Fundación Grupo Puntacana, Puntacana Resort and Club and some stores at the Punta Cana International Airport, as part of the marketing strategies.

As the pandemic is practically over in the DR,  the artisans  are increasingly participating as exhibitors in activities that help them promote their products and boost sales.  Fortunately the demand for the handicrafts (bags, souvenirs, accessories) continue increasing due to the recovery of the local tourism industry.

The project has been focused on the following as well:

  • Trainings. In the last February they participated in the second edition of the self- development workshop taught by a coach, in which they followed up  on progress in meeting their goals
  • Logistical support and transportation for their participation in bazaars, fairs and various events. In the last months they participated (by setting up an exhibition stand) in the Christmas Bazaar at Puntacana Village,  Dominican Nights at the Tortuga Bay Hotel and corporate events that took place in the Punta Cana destination.
  • Institutional strengthening of the association of artisans

Dear Donor, please receive a warm greeting. Thank you for your donation ! It really makes a difference for the female artisans that our project supports..

Thanks to your generosity and social awareness, these women are being empowered by stimulating their self-esteem and potential for self-development , in an entrepreneurial project to improve their living conditions and those of their families. In this sense, the artisans recently participated in a workshop in which the coach  offered them tools to increase their self-esteem and achieve their goals both personally and professionally.

This project is focused on training and empowering women who were at risk of falling into irreversible social exclusion, in order to improve their skills to actively and stably insert themselves in the micro-business world.

This project has demonstrated the validity and effectiveness of their intervention to respond, with the participation of the artisans, to the situation of social marginalization in which they found themselves.

As a Foundation, we continue supporting the artisans by making it possible to sell their handicrafts at the stores of the Fundación Grupo Puntacana, Puntacana Resort and Club and some stores at the Punta Cana International Airport, as part of the marketing strategies.

As the pandemic is under control in the  DR,  the artisans  are increasingly participating as exhibitors in activities that help them promote their products and boost sales,  always complying with health and safety protocols

Fortunately the demand for the handicrafts (bags, souvenirs, accessories) continue increasing due to the recovery of the local tourism industry.

The project has been focused on the following as well:

  • Trainings
  • Logistical support and transportation for their participation in bazaars, fairs and various events
  • Institutional strengthening of the association of artisans

Please see the 3 pictures attached.

Dear Donor, please receive a warm greeting. We are writing to express our deepest thanks for your donation. Contributions from donors like you provide the financial and moral support needed to accomplish our mission of improving the life conditions of a team of women who live in some deprived communities of the Punta Cana region.

Due to the pandemic, in recent months the artisans have been making their crafts from their homes most of the time, but little by little they are resuming the meetings and returning to participate in some events that allow them to exhibit their merchandise and boost sales,  always complying with health and safety protocols

Please see the picture attached (the stand at the Corales Championship PGA Tour Event 2021)

Fortunately the demand for the handicrafts (bags, souvenirs, accessories) has been increasing as the local tourism industry recovers.

As a Foundation, we support artisans by making it possible to sell their handicrafts at the stores of the Fundación Grupo Puntacana, Puntacana Resort and Club and some stores at the Punta Cana International Airport, as part of the marketing strategies.

Please see the picture attached (Yauya Store at Puntacana Village).

We have been focused on the following as well:

  • Technical training
  • Logistical support and transportation for their participation in bazaars, fairs and various events
  • Institutional strengthening: We mean the creation of an association of artisans that empowers them even more like microentrepreneurs, in this sense we have been providing them support so that they have legal and financial advice.

So far the remarkable impacts are:

  • Socioeconomic: Acquisition of skills that promote dignified entrepreneurship and the empowerment of the artisans.  It also includes the improvement of their living conditions and those of their families as well  (health, education, housing, etc.) through the generation of and / or increase of economic resources. More than 200 people directly benefited
  • Environmental: Protection of the marine ecosystem (by reducing pollution from plastic bags, which are used to make the handicrafts)

We hope to impact a greater number of women so that they become microentrepreneurs that contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.

We look forward to a continuing partnership with you.

We will keep you informed about the progress of the project. If you have any comment, advice or question, please feel free to direct them to us and we will answer as best we can.
