We would like to thank wholeheartedly everyone for your continuous support for our project, which is to empowering women lives and education of needy children in Masisi (Democratic Republic of Congo).
We are aware that many of you may be experiencing financial difficulties yourselves due to the pandemic, so we do appreciate your generosity, your encouragement and your willingness to devote your time and your thoughts to the women and children we are supporting.
In the month of May, we visited the women in Nyabiondo village, territory of Masisi (Democratic Republic of Congo) , and brought them some gifts from the funds raised in the March little by little campaign.
This action aimed to bring a little joy into the women and children lives in the form of a surprise gift and a kit for protection for each of them that was distribute in May 2021.
In June a team of Children Hope Forever Ambassadors visited Nyabiondo Village in Masisi and was able to recruit 20 women that are currently participating in our programs. The 20 women have children which age group are under 18 years old.
While One of a major goals remains to have a land for the project, We are able to rent a piece of land thanks to your donations.Land Preparation activities and the sowing of the maize seeds was done from middle to end of the month of june.
Since May2021, we have been providing them Foods every month and due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have selected 20 women first to start working in the land we rented we divided the 20 women into 2 groups, and they go to the farm 2 times per week.
This division has also helped us in delegate responsibilities to the women leasing the team and supervising with attention every single woman and their action. This helps us to monitor the evolution of their journey.
They also benefit from a training on agricultural practices and an online capacity building session every month with the other women We still apply the social distancing security in place. This has shown to be effective as we have observed a change in their behaves. Our Survey outcome have observed a teamwork and acceptance in the women compare to when we started.
We hope that we will be able to work with our full potential while respecting the rules to minimise the spread of Covid 19. For the coming trimester, we aims on providing:
such as impermeable, extra boots more farm supplier, maize shredding machine.
Our plan include making it possible for you to communicate with the women and children in Masisi through emails and social media still ongoing to able you feel connect with the community you are supporting and the benefits of your kindness.
Our plan for more educational equipment stil in need such as books, dictionnaries, schools uniforms for children. Therefore, there is an urgent need for further fundraising.
We have attached our visit pictures the visualrepresentation of the school facilities that will plan to build for children and storage for the women.
