Our project, "Empowering 100 orphans Through Education in Kenya," is dedicated to providing these children with the education, support, and resources they need to break free from poverty and build brighter futures.
A Story of Resilience: Tabitha's Journey
Before Nyumbani, I felt lost. I didn't think I was capable of achieving anything, and I felt hopeless and alone. But since I arrived at Nyumbani, everything has changed.
I used to struggle in school, but now I'm excelling in subjects I never thought I could. The teachers and tutors are always there to help me, and they believe in me even when I don't believe in myself.
The support provided to me goes beyond academics. Psychological counselling has helped me work through my past traumas and develop healthy coping mechanisms. And the religious support has given me a sense of purpose and belonging that I never had before.
Now, I want to work hard, succeed in education, and have a good future so I can help other girls.
