In February, we successfully completed the first phase of our program, which focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, discovering participants' entrepreneurial skills, and solidifying their project plans. To promote inclusion, we merged the "Including and Entrepreneurship" group of people with disabilities with a program for social entrepreneur leaders. Both groups are now participating in the second phase of the uHub program, which aims to cultivate self-discipline, adapt their skills to their environment, and develop their projects.
We have initiated the first workshops and continue with individualized mentoring sessions. Additionally, we hold support meetings where we invite successful individuals to share their experiences and how they have overcome difficult moments.
To illustrate the impact of our program, let me share the story of Laura, a participant with a visual impairment. Laura had a dream of creating a tactile art workshop for other visually impaired individuals. Through our program, she gained the confidence and skills to turn her dream into a reality. She is now running workshops that not only provide a creative outlet but also foster a sense of community and empowerment among participants.
Since our last report, we have assisted 25 individuals, providing them with the tools and support needed to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Notably, seven of the participants won a competition that offers them the opportunity to receive resources to purchase essential items for their ventures. Our program continues to thrive, and we are committed to supporting these inspiring individuals on their journey to success.
