Dear RATA supporter, Rwanda Assistive Technology Access (RATA) has trained 32 participants on ICT for the blind in 2 cohorts ( 22 young visually impaired and 10 teachers from a special school for the blind called HVP Gatagara ) because of your contribution. Lessons such as keyboard typing using braillino braille display, text formatting, Microsoft word and excel, using smartphones.. were covered in 16 sessions. Among the 22 young visually impaired trained, after the training 4 of them got a job.
Others are volunteering at RATA, advocating in different areas of the country so that persons with disabilities in Rwanda access ICTs (Assistive technologies).
Thank you so much again, we are deeply grateful for your support.
