By Jane Peter | Loan Officer
"As a loan officer I enjoy working with the women of our microcredit project. The women are very happy and grateful to what we have done regarding the improvement of their living standards, I have one woman among the potential women groups that is a good example of what am talking about."
Her name is Mariam Wachiro Washeke, when she first visited our office, she talked of having a business idea that she wanted to put into practice but failed due to lack of capital. She wanted to start a vegetables kiosk but since she was just a house wife there is no way she could have come up with the capital. Currently as we talk she owns a vegetable kiosk which is doing very well, she is the most active member of her group as so was elected chairlady, she has expanded her business which and also started new business in another area which is being taken care off by her sister. Her kids are now in good schools and she has even taken one of her daughter to secondary school.
Her life has completely taken a new turn and All thanks and regards goes to Anidan Microcredit project for women. There are so many other testimonies like this one, anyone interested is welcomed and I will be honored to tell.
