Empower People with Disabilities in Cambodia

With your support the first seven months of 2026 turned inclusion into everyday reality across Kampot; new classrooms opened, a young man landed his first job and families in crisis got fed. Here's the difference your support made.

Schools are becoming permanent, not just accessible. At Kampoul Meas Primary, 23 officials and community leaders approved a new accessible classroom and bathroom. At Konsat Primary, two years of integrated classes paid off: the programme is now written into the school's official Ministry-aligned development plan, serving 9 students for good.

Jobs are turning into leadership. At Epic Arts Café, 80% of staff with disabilities already see themselves as leaders. Raksmey, once a shy 22-year-old joining our Inclusive Arts Course, is now a barista supporting his family and planning to sell his own baking.

Protection reached families who needed it most. 75 emergency food packs went to vulnerable children and youth with disabilities across Kampot, alongside a new child protection partnership with Give A Hand that added a 24/7 protection hotline and trained community ChildSafe agents.

The Principal Who Chose Inclusion

Two years ago, Konsat Primary's director Mr. Rin Sokhon opened his school to Epic Arts' Inclusive Education Programme. Today deaf and hearing pupils learn side by side, and one student has progressed to Grade 1, something his parents once thought impossible.

"I am happy to see that students do not discriminate against their peers with disabilities," Sokhon says. "Instead, they support and learn from one another."
