Hi
Here’s our monthly round up of what’s been going on here in Kampot.
The Inclusive Education programme has been running day-to-day with our three classes for children with disabilities. Exciting news to announce that we will start a new course for youth with disabilities in August! Our team have been focused on finding young people with disabilities who want to enrol, so far we have 18 potential students!
Social Workers from our Community Programme have been out and about this last month. They were invited by the Governor of Kampot to visit six families along with local authorities in the Kampot countryside. While there they provided, counselling on services for children with disabilities and some basic materials.
Our inclusive dance team, Epic Encounters, performed a dance show about plastic to a local school for 100 children and they’re currently making a new dance show about accessible toilets with WaterAid Cambodia.
Epic Arts Cafe continues to be in the top Kampot restaurants in both TripAdvisor and Google Reviews. This month the team started a tasty new special which you’ll have to try the next time you’re in Kampot!
Best wishes,
Epic Arts Team
