“Today is a great day for me, I´m very happy and it has been hard, but we have worked to keep going (…) There are changes in my family, we are more communicative, more patient, we learned to take care each other and we approach more in family (…) I wish to everyone who have begun this (Mayama Program) has enough brave to finish it; God bless you and keep going teachers”.
This is just an example of feelings, and what a family degreed takes, five years later from coexistence and attendance here in Mayama Educative Program. Families who walked with us since 2010, and families who we was working to accomplish our mission: development of skills for taking assertive decisions in 57 children and 21 families.
This result is because of you and an entire team work, who also had activities that allow them to improve professional attention to each children that are parte of the Mayama family. Teachers attended the Third International Congress JUCONI (together with girls and boys in Spanish) "For a world without violence" in Mexico; and also attended the second Inter-Agency Meeting Foundation Quiera, with the objective to increase the professionalism of NGO (Non-Governmental Organizations), sharing experiences and case success with vulnerable children.
Thanks to you, this 2014 closed with gains, smiles and activities enjoyed by children, such as visiting local footballer Jesus Palacios de Leones Negros (University of Guadalajara, a local University) and members of the international movement "Up with People".
Thanks for being part of Mayama.
