Advancing towards a Bright Future with Mayama generations

Throughout the year 2024, our association has continued to progress in the third year of implementing the educational model with the seventh generation of Mayama beneficiaries. To date, we have worked with a total of 142 girls and boys. These children have shown remarkable progress in their emotional and developmental growth. They have learned to recognize and express their emotions, as well as to solve problems and manage conflicts in their daily lives. Additionally, we have observed significant improvements in the parenting skills of participating families.

Likewise, in February 2024, Mayama began the process of connecting the eighth generation of beneficiaries to the educational model. During this process, we have identified 64 families, representing a total of 87 girls and boys candidates to join the program. The final selection of families and children who will be part of the new generation will take place from May 2nd to May 7th, 2024.

With the incorporation of this new generation, we will begin the Trust Phase of the model. This stage aims to establish strong bonds among Mayama families, fostering mutual responsibility and empathy. This will ensure a sustainable process that promotes identity, security, and active participation in the educational model over the next four years.

These two generations will be the first beneficiaries of the New Mayama Community Center, currently under construction at Mariano Abasolo 2010, Los Puestos, 45638, San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, which will open its doors in the last quarter of 2024.
