Empower Nepali Girls with Global Video Classrooms

Since our last update, the riseHER project has continued to bring interactive learning opportunities to girls in rural Nepal. Through our live video classes, students are connecting with global perspectives while strengthening literacy, communication, and digital skills. 

As the new school year has now begun, we have completed the initial collection of data on students who require educational support. Our team is currently conducting the final screening and verification process to identify the most deserving recipients. By the end of September, we plan to provide these students with essential educational materials, including school uniforms, stationery, and other learning supplies. 

The video conferencing programme continues to grow successfully, and we are now conducting one class every week. These sessions have become an important bridge between the students and the wider world, creating opportunities for meaningful learning and cultural exchange. To ensure uninterrupted access to these classes, our next priority is securing a solar power system for the school. Reliable electricity remains a challenge in the region, and solar energy will provide a sustainable solution for continuous learning. Future donations will therefore be directed towards establishing this essential infrastructure.
