SCHLOARSHIP DISTRIBUTION SCREENING

By Shiva Rimal | Director

Project Status

The riseHER Project is currently ongoing. During the past two months, project activities were temporarily paused due to the transition between academic years at the partner school. With the commencement of the new academic session, project implementation has resumed as planned.

Student Screening and Scholarship Support

As part of the new academic cycle, approximately 25 students have been screened for scholarship support for this year. These scholarships are targeted at adolescent girls from a remote village in Rolpa District, with the objective of improving their access to quality education and global learning opportunities.

Digital Learning and International Engagement

The riseHER Project continues to support girls by connecting them virtually with the global community through online classes delivered by international volunteers. The introduction of smart board technology and reliable internet connectivity has significantly enhanced classroom interaction, learning quality, and student engagement. These digital tools have proven to be instrumental in bridging educational gaps in this remote setting.

Resource Needs and Future Support

While the project has made meaningful progress, there remains a growing need to expand digital infrastructure. We are currently seeking generous donors and partners to support the installation of additional smart boards in the school. Increased access to such resources will enable more students to benefit from interactive, technology-enabled learning and ensure the sustainability and scalability of the riseHER initiative.
