CCF celebrated its 20th anniversary in May 2024, highlighting its two decades of remarkable achievements in supporting Cambodia's most at-risk children.
Over these two decades, CCF has supported approximately 4,300 at-risk children, with over 70% of its first students advancing to university and building successful careers. CCF's commitment to ending generational poverty is evident in its focus on nurturing future leaders and providing essential community services, including housing, medical clinics, and education. 18 students received international scholarships to study in Australia, the USA, France, Japan, and India; 191 university graduates with full-time employment; And almost 150,000 lives have been impacted by CCF programs in Cambodia.
Reflecting on this journey, Scott Neeson expressed not only gratitude but also his enthusiasm for the future. He shared his vision of expanding CCF's impact to reach even more needy children and communities, inspiring continued support and involvement in CCF's mission.
Prime Minister Hun Manet’s wife, Pich Chanmony, attended the Community Celebration, underscoring the significance of the CCF’s mission. Approximately 3,000 participants attended the events, including CCF’s students, community children, parents, staff, donors, and VIP guests.
His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni was the guest of honor at the Formal Acknowledgement Ceremony and praised CCF for its efforts to enhance the lives of children and families in impoverished communities in Cambodia. 500 people attended this ceremony, including Government officials, ambassadors, dignitaries, supporters, CCF’s students, parents, and senior staff.
His Majesty has honored staff and major donors of the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) for their significant impact on the lives of needy children through their work and support for the leading charity.
