Impact Report – Q2 2026

During the second quarter of 2026, Afesu expanded opportunities for girls and young women through activities focused on career development, artificial intelligence, technology, financial literacy, career planning, women’s leadership, and skills for the future of work. These experiences strengthened their autonomy, critical thinking, communication, planning skills, and confidence.

Beneficiaries also took part in cultural experiences at the Museum of the Portuguese Language and the Jewish Museum, broadening their cultural awareness and perspectives.

Family gatherings and Cultural Showcases strengthened the connection between beneficiaries, educators, and parents, reinforcing a supportive environment for their development.

These results build on Afesu’s impact in 2025, when 990 girls and young women participated in programs across its three units. Follow-up surveys showed that 90% of former beneficiaries continued their education, 42% were employed, and 96% reported greater personal responsibility.
