This is what your monthly support has been doing, one child at a time.
Meet Channa*.
In late 2024, Channa walked into a classroom for the first time.
She was 12, the eldest of three siblings. Her family had never been able to afford school.
At first, she was scared.
"When she started, Channa would cry and want to go home," her teacher remembers. Everything was new, and she found it hard to talk to her classmates and her teachers.
Slowly, that changed.
Through ISF's Catch-up Education Programme, her teachers worked with her step by step.
She started smiling more. She made friends. She found she actually loved learning.
"At ISF, my teachers helped me learn step by step, and now I enjoy studying and coming to school every day," Channa says.
That kind of change doesn't happen from a single gift. It happens because people like you kept giving, month after month, while Channa quietly caught up. And catch up she did!
In just one year, she completed two full grades. Now she is in Grade 3 ready for exam to move to Grade 4. She can read, do maths, and she's now known in her community as one of the kids who helps others.
Her parents once had no reason to believe school was possible for their daughter. Now they watch her thrive. They hope her younger brother will get the same chance.
Because you kept giving, Channa didn't just start school. She found her place in it. And now, her family is dreaming bigger for her brother too.
