Every child deserves access to quality education, healthcare, and play. ISF's holistic Education Programme aims to provide disadvantaged Cambodian children living in poverty with the opportunity to enjoy these rights and create a brighter future.
Approximately 49% of children in Cambodia experience extreme poverty, with limited access to healthcare, sanitation, nutrition, and education. Within the urban slum communities where ISF operates, a majority of families manage to survive on less than $2 per day. Consequently, children are compelled to forgo their education and instead work to assist their families financially. This unfortunate circumstance deprives them of their childhood and frequently results in perpetual cycles of poverty.
ISF's accelerated Education Programme provides children who have never been to school or had to drop out, the opportunity to catch up on missed education and integrate into the state school system. To break down barriers to education, ISF continues to support them for as long as they remain in education. This holistic support includes school fees, uniforms, monthly family food parcels, healthcare, and sports, alongside English and IT lessons, extra-curricular activities, and employment support.
Every year, ISF empowers around 700 students with a comprehensive support program that breaks down barriers to education. Through our holistic approach, we provide quality education, enhance health and nutrition, boost confidence, and equip students with the necessary tools to uplift themselves and their communities out of poverty. Your donation will create an enduring impact on the lives of underprivileged children and their families. Together, we can transform one child's future at a time.
