My name is Alix and I am GlobalGiving's new field traveler in West Africa. Field travelers play a crucial role in helping our local partners learn new skills and tools to increase their impact and achieve their goals. I will be conducting site visits to local partners, holding workshops bringing together local nonprofits in a collaborative environment, and reaching out to strategic partners. I will be the human connection between GlobalGiving and our fantastic local partners.
GlobalGiving wants to guarantee that all of its local nonprofit partners have all the tools they need to succeed and that companies and donors are confident that their gift will truly make an impact. By leading workshops, providing guidance on online fundraising, or addressing any potential concerns, I will be able to help both the nonprofits and GlobalGiving fulfill their missions.
Field interns are able to visit nonprofits on the ground and they serve as the human link between GlobalGiving and the local nonprofit partners, able to address the needs and concerns of these nonprofits and help them to better utilize GlobalGiving's platform. This allows GlobalGiving to learn more about its partners, including both the challenges that nonprofits face and the innovative solutions that they have discovered and are putting into practice.
GlobalGiving partners with organizations who are finding innovative solutions to address problems including access to education, climate change, disaster recovery, and economic development. Your donation allows the crucial work of field interns to continue, helping us to maintain our relationships with local partners and receive crucial feedback to continue the important work that GlobalGiving does.
