This project aims to make a difference in the lives of rural area students by investing in their education. Books, school bags, educational toys, maths and intelligence games will be provided to 1000 underprivileged students every school year. This type of basic aid will support students in their learning, improve teacher effectiveness and empower students. Better educated students will be better equipped to pursue higher education and give back to their community in the future.
Many rural students in Turkey go to schools lacking adequate educational materials. Teachers feel helpless to engage kids in classrooms without proper school supplies. Lack of materials hinder student focus and success. Teachers need the basic classroom supplies to better educate students and improve student achievement. This project will help more than 1000 rural students a year whose families cannot afford to provide them.
A modest $30 gift will ensure that students will be able to focus on school work. $20 donation will give a child a new school bag filled with school supplies. Classrooms filled with books and educational materials will make children engage in school and teachers will be motivated to do more for them. These will improve the quality of education which will lead to empowered and confident students. Better educated individuals will transform their community.
By providing books, dictionaries, schoolbags, educational toys, intelligence games to underprivileged children mostly living in rural Anatolia or underdeveloped areas in Turkey, this project will invest in the education of students in need who otherwise cannot afford or access these materials. The project will enable teachers in raising their effectiveness and improve student achievement. This project will reach more than 35 schools and help more than 1000 students in rural Turkey every year.
