Report for the last three Months

We would like to thank our partners and donors for the continued support you have been giving us. Continue we shall realize our goal and dream together

The project is focusing on equipping grandmothers and adolescent girls from low income families with vocational skills in Tailoring, Knitting and weaving so that upon completion they will be able to set up their own income generating projects and be able to earn a living.

In the past three months we have not received any donation but we have stayed focused on the training

The training exercise has gone one according to our according to our work plan at JOPA site

Each trainee is undergoing (5) Training hours each day, and (25) Training hours a week.
Two (02) main groups were formed that is one for grandmother and one for adolescent girls. Each group attends a particular session. We have the morning session which runs from 8a.m up 1pm and the afternoon session that runs from 2pm to 5pm

The trainees are being trained in all the three (03) important aspects of the course such as drafting, cutting and stitching. The participants are much interested in the Tailoring.
The course content is very helpful in starting up individual and group enterprises at household level.

Training is 90% practical due to the fact that most of the trainees uneducated.

The beneficiaries are completing their training this next months in September and therefore we call upon all those who feel can make a change in people’s lives to join hands to ensure that the training is completed successfully and transform the lives of grandmothers and adolescent girls.
