We are delighted to share an important milestone in eSTEM Morocco’s mission to empower girls through science, technology, innovation, and leadership: the successful completion of the second edition of the eSTEAM Festival, held from July 7–12, 2026, at the Zerkten Educational Complex in the Al Haouz region.
This year, the festival brought together 80 girls aged 8-18 from all 12 regions of Morocco, alongside 20 mentors and facilitators, creating a unique national space where girls could learn, experiment, connect, and celebrate their achievements.
A week dedicated to STEAM and innovation
The eSTEAM Festival was designed as an immersive learning and celebration experience, combining hands-on learning, creativity, leadership, cultural discovery, and outdoor activities.
Throughout the week, participants took part in interactive workshops covering:
The girls also worked on challenges connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), giving them the opportunity to connect technology and innovation with real-world social and environmental challenges.
Learning beyond the classroom
The festival also offered participants the opportunity to discover Morocco's cultural and natural heritage through educational excursions in the region of Ouarzazate, including visits to historical and cultural sites and cinema-related locations.
One of the highlights was an astronomical observation session under the Atlas night sky, allowing the girls to explore astronomy while experiencing the natural environment surrounding the Zerkten center.
The festival also provided a space for girls to share their ideas and projects through pitches addressing SDG-related challenges, strengthening their public speaking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Celebrating innovation and the Titrit community
This edition also marked the launch of the second edition of the Titrit Game, eSTEM Morocco's educational game designed to introduce girls to the Titrit ecosystem and encourage learning through play.
Participants received certificates recognizing their participation and commitment throughout the festival, celebrating not only what they learned during the week but also their broader journey within eSTEM Morocco's programs.
A strong ecosystem of partners
The 2026 edition was made possible through the support and collaboration of several partners, including HP, Goodera with IBM Impact, and WAW, whose contributions helped create meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for the participating girls.
The festival also strengthened eSTEM Morocco's commitment to creating bridges between girls, mentors, private-sector partners, and local communities.
What comes next?
The eSTEAM Festival is not an end point but a continuation of the girls' learning journey.
Following the festival, participants will continue to benefit from eSTEM Morocco's ecosystem of programs, including Technovation, T-Inspire, Tanirt, Digital Houses, Digital Innovation Academy, and Titritapp, giving them continued access to mentorship, digital skills, innovation opportunities, and leadership experiences.
The 2026 edition demonstrated once again that when girls from different regions of Morocco are given access to the right tools, mentors, and opportunities, they can learn, innovate, lead, and inspire others.
