Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation
The last you heard from us, we were building our relationship with our partners and before this report we entered into a partnership to provide digital skills for our women entreprenuers.
In collaboration with Women in Digital Business (WIDB), ITC, ILO, and Microsoft, we conducted a digital skills training program for women entrepreneurs. The program aimed to equip women with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital economy.19 applications were received, and 9 women completed the 5-week program. The training covered modules on e-commerce, social media marketing, website creation, and basic entrepreneurship skills. The Women in Digital Business (WIDB) platform was used to deliver the training, Incentives, including business registration and data gifting, were provided to support the women's entrepreneurial journey.
Impact thus far
The training has empowered women entrepreneurs with digital skills, enhancing their ability to compete in the market
The graduation ceremony held for them marked a significant milestone, recognizing the achievements of the women who completed the program
The 10 participants yet to finish the program are nearing completion of the training, and we anticipate a high completion rate
The digital skills training program has been a success, providing women entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital economy. We look forward to continuing our partnership with WIDB, ITC, ILO, and Microsoft to support women's economic empowerment in digital skills.
