Dear friend,
We have wonderful news to share, and it begins with you.
Thanks to your generosity during our summer campaign, together we have so far raised nearly $35,000 for our Employment Hub program. Every one of those dollars was a vote of confidence in a young Lebanese person you may never meet, and we are so grateful you chose to place it.
Here is what your support has made real: on September 21, a new cohort of Employment Hub opens its doors to 100 young people in Lebanon. 100 young people who have the talent and the determination, and who now, finally, have a door to walk through.
The difference you are part of
Because you should see exactly what your support builds, here is where Employment Hub stands as of July 31, 2026:
Behind every one of those numbers is a person. Here are two of them.
Nour, 21. After earning her computer science degree, Nour sent out around 75 applications and heard almost nothing back. "I was either getting rejected or ghosted," she told us. Through Employment Hub, a coach helped her rebuild the very same CV, and it landed her a job as a software engineer with a UK-based health-tech company. The only thing that changed was that someone helped her be seen.
Maya, a teacher from the Bekaa. (Her name has been changed to protect her privacy.) Maya arrived certain no one would ever hire her again, and broke down in her very first session. Her coach never let go. Weeks later, she landed a teaching post in Beirut, and today she lives independently, back in the work she loves.
Stories like these are only possible because people like you decided a young person's future was worth investing in. From all of us, and from the 100 young people who will walk through our doors this September: thank you.
We are still actively fundraising to reach our goal of at least $45,000 to cover our costs in November and December. If you know any potential donors who would like to support our program, please do share this link with them. Donations are processed securely through GlobalGiving and are tax-deductible in the US and UK.
With gratitude,
