We are grateful that you are staying with Ukraine and would like to share the first results of your assistance.
This winter has been especially difficult for small Ukrainian communities like Snovsk (Chernihiv Region). Ongoing power outages and freezing temperatures have made daily life extremely challenging — especially for families with children, elderly residents, and people with limited mobility.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to quickly respond to urgent needs and support 52 direct beneficiaries (around 100 people indirectly, including family members).
During this reporting period, we purchased and distributed:
Power banks to help families stay connected during blackouts (15 units)
Rechargeable lamps to provide safe light in homes without electricity (15 units)
Electric heating blankets to protect people from freezing indoor temperatures (10 units)
Warm winter clothing for children
Diapers for babies and for adults requiring constant care
These items may seem simple, but during winter blackouts they become essential for safety and dignity. A charged phone means access to emergency information and contact with loved ones. Light means children can move safely inside their homes. A warm blanket can prevent serious health risks in freezing apartments.
Families shared how relieved they felt receiving this support. Parents told us they could finally keep their children warm at night. Caregivers of immobile adults said the diapers and electric blankets significantly eased their daily burden.
Your donations allowed our organization to act quickly, transparently, and effectively at a critical moment. It strengthened trust within the community and increased our capacity to respond to winter emergencies. We sincerely thank everyone who makes this assistance possible. Your support is not just about supplies — it is about warmth, safety, and hope during a very difficult winter.
If you have the opportunity, we would be truly grateful if you could share our fundraising campaign with your friends, colleagues, or relatives.
