We are aware that the post-emergency phase is as crucial as the initial response, Doctors of the World reaffirms its commitment to continue working to guarantee the right to health of all affected people, promoting not only physical reconstruction, but also the dignity and rights of the most vulnerable communities. From the organization we consider fundamental:
Apply flexibility measures in the procedures of Aliens for migrants affected by the DANA catastrophe in the Valencian Community, including the First Additional Provision that establishes the possibility of facilitating temporary work and residence authorizations when circumstances of an economic, social or labor nature make it advisable and in unregulated cases of special relevance.
To continue reinforcing the resources destined to mental health and psychosocial support in emergency and post-emergency situations is our main objetive in this phase.
