Thanks to the generosity of donors who supported this appeal through GlobalGiving, as well as the contributions received through other fundraising channels, we were able to have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in the affected areas. Their presence on the ground allowed us to respond quickly and remain alongside vulnerable communities during the critical weeks following the disaster.
With the support of our donors, we provided essential relief items to families who had lost access to basic necessities. This assistance included food supplies, baby care products, hygiene kits, mattresses, and other urgently needed household items. In addition, medical brigades and other essential support services helped address immediate health and wellbeing needs within the affected communities.
Beyond the distribution of emergency aid, our team worked closely with local partners to identify the most pressing needs and ensure that assistance reached those who needed it most. The commitment and dedication of staff, volunteers, and community members made it possible to deliver support efficiently and compassionately during an extremely difficult time.
We are deeply grateful that we were able to be present on the ground, responding directly to the emergency and supporting families during their recovery. None of this would have been possible without the generosity and solidarity of our donors.
On behalf of Mensajeros de la Paz and the communities we served, thank you for standing with Venezuela during this critical moment. Your support helped bring relief, dignity, and hope to families facing the aftermath of a devastating disaster.
