Dear friends and fellow philanthropists,
It's the time of the year where we look back in appreciation at what we have managed to accomnplish and we also look forward in anticipation to what can still be done in order to fulfill the wishes of so many refugee families and children.
Although the problems faced, by refugees strewn around the various hotspots in Greece, have not been solved and till today more and more people are still arriving on the shores of our islands closest to Turkey, nevertheless it still warms our heart to think of all the young souls we have been able to reach out to and by which we in turn have been touched.
With your help and generosity and the precious help and support from our volunteers we have managed, with great difficulty, to steadily supply young refugee children with milk, yoghurt, babyfood and diapers. This year has brought us close to so many families and children and we are endlessly grateful for their gratitude and love of life as it is what keeps us going on!!
It is the childen like Hassan that would latch onto us whenever we delivered products, blankets and clothes, which helped to fill us with hope for the future against the harsh reality of International politics and diplomacy that unfortunately has not been able to ease the predicament these people are faced with.Hassan went on to surprise us all by learning Greek and he has proudly joined our forces as a volunteer helping us ditribute food, clothes and blankets in his camp. There are so many children like Hassan that have joined hands to help us all create a huge family striving to keep the children fed, warm and safe. However, it saddens us that we are not able to keep up with the huge demand for even the basics!
We therefore appeal to you to take advantage of the Year End Campaign and the Recurring Match Campaign that will double your impact whether big or small. By donating now your support will double your impact impact on Hassan's and all the other Children's lives in the camps throughout Greece.
