Tele counselling has been accessible to distant cases. This has been useful for urgent counselling service for most off the cases. However, females prefer in-person counselling service for confidentiality. In this period of time, around 20 cases receive tele counselling. Most of these cases are identified with stress. These cases are identified by community psychosocial wokers and linked with tele counsellors.
The tele cousnelling sessions are planned at least one session every week. However, many cases required frequent sessions based on the severeity of their condition. Tele counselling has been helpful in immediate relief from stress and provides psychosocial support.
The support is needed to larger community as it is asseccible. This will be possible only after collaboration and support from everyone. We need professionals for severe cases to provide tele therapy as well. The support has been appreciated at most places.
