The limits access to healthcare in Syria. Made it our mission in Ghawth to be leading frontliners. The Ghawth team assessed Harasta National Hospital, a government facility serving over 5,000 patients monthly. Despite severe shortages and low staff salaries, the hospital continues to provide free care. Ghawth has launched a medical emergency response plan to: Improve healthcare access for 25,000 Syrian patients. Provide food assistance to 300 Syrian medical staff.
Syria's healthcare system is collapsing after 12+ years of conflict, economic crisis, and earthquakes. Over 16.7 million Syrians need aid, but hospitals are crippled by shortages, medical staff earn poverty wages, disease outbreaks are rampant, and 5.5 million displaced Syrians face starvation due to skyrocketing food prices. Without intervention, preventable deaths will increase, and the system will completely fail.
Our donation will directly fund: 25,000 patients receiving life-preserving care, including children, pregnant women, and the elderly. 300 medical staff gaining food security, allowing them to focus on saving lives. 3 hospitals equipped to treat trauma, infectious diseases, and chronic conditions.
Long-Term Change: Reduced mortality rates from preventable illnesses. Strengthened public health infrastructure for post-conflict recovery. Hope restored for families relying on free healthcare.
